Perfect stay in Chester for the two nights over Valentine’s Day weekend! Staff were so nice and accommodating, location was great (right next to the canal!) and the room was clean and modern. I messaged in advance about the room being decorated for valentines but this wasn’t done at arrival, however the hotel staff were quick to get this sorted when I arrived and I helped myself to a free coffee while I waited. Overall a great stay and we’ll definitely stay again.
The Moxy is a lovely hotel located very close to the train station, rooms are clean, a good size and very comfortable. I love the decor of the hotel, very nice touches all around the hotel On arrival, i was greeted by a very friendly team and checked in. Hotel has some construction work ongoing but it didnt disrupt a lot of activities / service indoors Breakfast is served in the lobby and is a food spread - can't fault it. Parking onsite is a little limited but there are loads of spaces at the station car park at an affordable price. All in all, its a really nice unique space with a very friendly team
I visited Chester for the day (night trips) and I was feeling a bit unwell, so decided to go for a day reservation. It was just what I needed! Bed was so comfy, I had the best nap ever. Hotel is quiet and room was lovely, tidy clean, and nicely decorated. Polite and welcoming staff, I'll have Moxy hotels in mind for any of my future trips :)
Stayed for a night and would definitely recommend this place! The breakfast is the real deal – with a decent variety that’s absolutely worth the money. The ambience is cozy and welcoming, and the canal walk right beside the hotel is a must-try experience. Kudos to the team for their wonderful hospitality and patience.
Stayed here for one night recently. I love a Moxy! Such good value and comfort bed, hot shower! Had everything we needed for the 1 night. The car parking system was a bit annoying and a bit of a walk. The food in the bar was ok, nothing special! Breakfast was fav with a variety of choice. Nice hotel, I’d definitely stay again!
Had a brilliant stay at Moxy Chester. The hotel has a really cool, modern vibe and feels relaxed the moment you walk in. Rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short break. The location is spot on for exploring Chester. We walked the city walls, wandered into town, and everything was close by which made the weekend feel effortless. A big plus for us was how pet friendly the hotel is. We stayed with our dog Milo and he was made to feel really welcome with plenty of fuss from staff, which genuinely made the stay even better. Staff were friendly and welcoming without being over the top, and the bar and social area had a great atmosphere too, perfect for winding down after a day out. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely come back. Ideal if you want somewhere stylish, comfortable, pet friendly, and well located without any fuss.
Stayed here for only one night while visiting the lovely Chester, what a absolutely amazing team of staff they have, so friendly, polite and helpful, they honestly excell in being helpful, I and my wife were both grateful and amazed by the staff. Rooms are spotless clean and a nice surprise were the petal's strewn on the floor and bed. ,everything worked as it should be bed was super comfy and water nice and hot. Car park is only small but we managed to get a spot. Payment process is easy to use , but the staff are more than willing to help. The manager even phoned a taxi for us to go into town. ( Thank you ,) Drinks at the bar are cheap, service is brilliant. Breakfast is more than adequate,having a very good choice of cereals, breads, hot cooked breakfast items and fruits. A Very enjoyable place to stay situated right at the side of the canal. Will I visit again ? Pointless question YES 100% highly highly recommended
Grat hotel very clean and smart.the rooms are very spacious we had a disabled room which was exceptionally spacious breakfast is very good plenty of cooked stuff also very good continental good pasty choices. Nice location on the canalside and just 5 minutes walk from chester train station and 10 minutes walk to Chester centre
